Doula support is such a valuable investment. I say this as someone who has been attending births for 6 years and has also had two children of my own. Having someone whose sole role is to support you and advocate for you is truly invaluable.
Inquiry
Head to my Contact page and fill our an inquiry. This will allow me to check my calendar and let you know if I am available for your estimated due date and location.
I take limited clients so do not hesitate to inquire, even if it feels early!
Consultation + Booking
If I am available for your estimated du date, we can schedule a consultation! This allows us to get to know each other better and gives you an opportunity to ask me any questions you might have about myself and the support I offer.
Once you decide you want to move forward, you will sign the contract and pay your deposit via the online portal. This is when my support begins!
Prenatal Meeting + Birth Prep
Depending on which package you select, we will meet once or twice before your birth to prepare. These meetings happen in your home and allows us to get to know each other better, as well as to prepare for labor.
These meetings look different for each person and each family—everyone has unique desires for support. We will discuss things like: birth preferences, fears and hesitations, comfort measure, partner support, and so much more!
On-Call Period
I consider myself fully on call for your birth from 37 weeks on. This means I am available 24/7 by phone and will stay within 2 hours of your birthing location.
During the final weeks of pregnancy, we will be in communication about how you’re feeling, signs of early labor, emotional challenges, and so much more!
How it Works
Birthing Day
When you’re in labor (or think you might be), let me know! We will decide on a time and location for me to come meet you.
I will stay with you through the entirety of your birth, until 1-2 hours after your baby is born! Throughout labor, I will support you (and your partner) emotionally and physically. My goal is for you to feel empowered and respected every step of the way.
Postpartum
Depending on which package you select, we will either meet once or twice within 6 weeks of your birth. These meetings are an opportunity to do some birth processing, answering questions about breastfeeding and newborn care, connecting you to resources you might need, and just spending time together.
