What is a Doula?
Doulas are trained birth professionals who support birthing persons and families during pregnancy, birth, and immediately postpartum. The continuous physical, emotional, and informational support provided by a doula positively enhances the birth experience, eases labor recovery, and facilitates a smoother postpartum transition.
Most importantly, doulas advocate for and empower birthing persons. Guiding you towards having a birth you feel proud of—whatever that may look like for you.
Welcoming a new member into your family comes with many changes. Whether it is helping prepare for delivery, aiding in the labor, or assisting in the recovery, having a doula is the perfect way to ensure support.
Birth Support
As a birth doula, I will assist you before, during, and after labor. Intentional labor preparation—both physical and mental—can go a long way in improving the overall birthing experience.
I provide help with establishing birth principles and ensuring those are respected in the birthing space. I also offer assistance with pain relief and relaxation techniques, comfort massage, effective positioning for labor and birth, acupressure points, visualization techniques, hydrotherapy, advocacy, lactation support, and more.
I support births in your home, at birth centers, or in hospitals.

Schedule a call with me to chat all things birth! Come with questions, curiosities, and fears and leave feeling excited, empowered, and confident in your decision making.
During this one hour video call, I will provide support, education, or guidance to support you (and your partner) as you prepare for labor. This might include talking about a birth plan or vision, building your birth team, providing educational resources, and answering any other questions you may have. The call will be followed by an in-depth follow-up email which will include a summary of the call and resources to further answers any questions discussed.
